DhanGyaan is a free educational website about personal finance in India. You may read, learn from and share our content freely. What you must not do is treat it as personalised investment advice — we don't know your situation, and we are not registered advisors. Using this site means you agree to these terms.

Every article, quiz, calculator and deep dive on this site is written to explain how something works — a tax regime, a mutual fund, a home loan — not to tell you whether to buy, sell or hold a particular product. Nothing here is a recommendation, a solicitation or an offer.

We are not SEBI-registered investment advisors, AMFI-registered mutual fund distributors, insurance agents or chartered accountants. Reading a page on dhangyaan.com does not create any client–professional relationship between us.

Before acting on anything you read here, check the current rules on official sources and, where the decision is large, talk to a qualified professional who can look at your full picture.

You promise to use dhangyaan.com lawfully and for your own learning. That means no scraping or republishing our pages at scale, no attempting to break or overload the site, no impersonating us or our partners, and no using our name or logo in a way that suggests we endorse you.

The quizzes and planners are built to run inside your browser with no account needed. Please don't enter real names, account numbers, PAN, Aadhaar or any other sensitive detail into them — they don't need it and it isn't safe.

Finance rules in India move quickly — budgets change tax slabs, RBI updates loan rules, fund houses revise charges. We write against a stated financial year (currently 2025-26) and update pages when we can, but we can't promise every number is current the day you read it.

Returns shown for any instrument are historical, and past performance never guarantees similar results in future.

We link to other sites — regulators, partner tools like DhanWize, our own social channels. Once you click through, their terms and privacy policies apply, not ours. We don't control what they publish or charge.

Articles, layouts and quizzes on this site are our work. Personal use and sharing is welcome — link to the page, quote a short passage with credit. What isn't okay: copying whole pages onto another site, removing our credit, or presenting our material as your own.

You keep ownership of anything you create with our tools. Since quizzes never leave your browser, we never see it and can't claim it.

The site is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. If something on dhangyaan.com is wrong or out of date, that is the risk of reading a free website — not a promise we have broken.

To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for losses arising from using this site or from money decisions made after reading it. You are the decision-maker for your own portfolio.

If the site grows — accounts, a newsletter, paid courses — these terms will change to match, and we'll update this page and the date below before the new feature goes live. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the new version.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Anything that can't be settled between us goes to the competent courts in India.
